Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Repair in Springfield, TN

This customer in Springfield, TN called Frontier to help with moisture issues in their crawlspace. To control the moisture issues, we cleaned out all the debris and then buried EZ-Flow tubing into the ground. This tubing allows water to flow around the perimeter and into the lowest section of the crawl space, where the sump pump will be placed. The TripleSafe sump pump is installed, then the floors are covered with drainage matting and CleanSpace liner. The CleanSpace also goes up the walls as well. After that the drainage system is connected, with an IceGuard and LawnScape system. The project is finished With a new EverLast crawl space door.

Moisture Levels

The moisture reading is taken of the wooden floor joists. It will tell us how much moisture has been absorbed by the wood.

Crawl Space Moisture

The moisture level is taken inside the the crawl space, this reading level lets us know that the moisture is to high, which is a prime environment for mold growth.

Crawl Space Before Project Starts

You can see obvious signs of moisture issues. Water is pooling on the floor next to the crawl space supports, if left untreated these supports will start to fail and cause the floor to start sinking.

Floor Joists

Mold and spider webs are visible between the floor joists. This will need to be treated and cleaned up before we start the project.

Debris Removed

Crawl space after all the debris is removed, even those spider webs from the floor joists. Now it's time for the products to be installed.

CleanSpace

CleanSpace is installed on all the walls. After it's secured we will install it over the drainage matting on the floors as well. Effectively lining the entire crawl space from the outside elements.
