After evaluating the space, our system design specialist recommended a complete encapsulation. Our crew began work in the crawl space as soon as we arrived on site. They removed the old vapor barrier and other debris inside the crawl space. The crew rolled out drainage matting across the dirt floor of the space. Over the matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. A thinner version of our CleanSpace -- called Wallie -- was applied to the wall and around the columns. Along the perimeter of the crawl space, we dug out trenches to accommodate our EZ-Flow tubing. This tubing will connect to the sump pump system, which is designed to pump out large quantities of water in the event that your space floods. The actual sump pump is placed in a liner in the lowest section of the crawl space, with a drainage line running out into the yard and away from the home. To combat excess moisture in the air, we also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. As a final touch, we replaced the old wooden door with our EverLast crawl space door.
