Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Nashville, TN
This homeowner in Nashville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their crawl space evaluated. While inspecting the crawl space, our system design specialist suggested a crawl space encapsulation. Once they arrived on site, our crew started the job by removing the old vapor barrier as well as any debris in the crawl space. Dimpled drainage matting was rolled out over the dirt floor to help with water flow under the vapor barrier. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is applied on top of the matting, with a thinner version of the barrier being applied to the wall and columns of the space. We sealed off all crawl space vents with our SilverGlo insulation slabs. To prevent high humidity levels and mold growth, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. As a final touch, we replaced the old crawl space door with our EverLast crawl space door.

The crawl space was a damp, cluttered space before the encapsulation.

Mold thrives in damp crawl spaces like this one.
Wood Rot
The wooden structures in this crawl space were showing severe signs of rot.
Drainage Matting
The dimples in our drainage matting ensure water can easily move under the vapor barrier and out of the crawl space.
CleanSpace
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is more durable than other barriers.
SilverGlo Insulation
We seal off the air vents to prevent air from blowing into the crawl space, mixing with the stagnant crawl space air, and then flowing up into the living areas of the home.
SaniDry Sedona Dehumdifier
Our crawl space dehumidifier ensures that moisture levels won't go over 55 percent.
EverLast Door
Our EverLast crawl space door is made of inorganic materials and will not rot or rust.
