Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Fairview, TN

A homeowner in Fairview, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's crawl space evaluated. After inspecting the space, our system design specialist recommended a complete encapsulation of the crawl space. Once our crew arrived on site, they removed the old vapor barrier out of the space. With the dirt floor exposed, the crew rolled out drainage matting, which will help with the flow of water out of the crawl space. On top of the matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Any open vents were sealed off with our SilverGlo insulation panels, and a thinner version of the CleanSpace -- called Wallie -- was applied to the walls and around columns. We also installed a sump pump system to prevent the crawl space from flooding. A crawl space dehumidifier was also added to control moisture levels.
