Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Franklin, TN
This homeowner in Franklin, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's crawl space evaluated. Once inside the crawl space, our system design specialist discovered a cluttered mess protected only by a simple vapor barrier. The homeowner was recommended a crawl space encapsulation, which they accepted. As soon as our crew arrived, they began removing the debris from the space. Once the crawl space's dirt floor was exposed, we rolled out our dimpled drainage matting to help water flow out of the crawl space. On top of the matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around the columns, we applied "Wallie," a thinner version of our CleanSpace barrier. As an added defense against moisture in the crawl space, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
