Crawl Space Before Project Begins
Pooling water, debris, and falling insulation are all indications of moisture damage in the crawl space.
Wood Moisture
Taking moisture readings of the wooden floor joists. This gives us an accurate picture of how much damage the floor joists have.
Moisture Level
The moisture level in this crawl space is high. This is the perfect breeding ground for mild growth leading to wood rot and sagging unstable floors.
Debris
This is all the debris removed from the crawl space, it will be hauled away.
Debris Removed
The debris has been removed from the crawl space and CleanSpace is being put up along the walls and secured to provide a barrier from moisture.
Drainage matting
This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.
CleanSpace® vapor barrier
One of the key ingredients in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable, 20mil plastic sheet material designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air and pests from getting into your crawl space. Your crawl space technician will install CleanSpace® poly over the foundation walls and floor to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.
SaniDry Sedona
The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier will pull any excess moisture from the air, along with the other installed products helping this crawl space stay dry and moisture free.
Interior Water Proofing
The interior has been completely covered in CleanSpace and this part of the project complete.
