Moisture Damage
Obvious signs of moisture damage in the crawl space. From the wet walls, dripping insulation, and muddy floors. All of this debris will be cleaned out, the mold in the wood floor joists treated, and then the encapsulation of the crawl space will begin.
EZ Flow
After the debris is cleaned out, a area is dug around the perimeter. This is where the EZ Flow will be placed. It will collect any water and direct it to the sump pump to be pumped out of the crawl space.
New Framing
New framing is built to install the new crawl space door so that is air tight and secure.
Old Crawl Space Door
Old crawl space doors can lead to many problems for your home. Along with being an eyesore, they also allow pests such as termites, ants, and mice into your home.
TripleSafe Installation Process
A hole has been excavated and the TripleSafe is placed and the parts assembled inside of it.
Drainage matting
This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.
The SaniDry Sedona
The SaniDry Sedona offers giant performance in a small package. It's the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier, without a bulky heat exchange core. The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, provides three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, the TripleSafe™ has a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller® ½ hp pump set a bit higher in the liner will take over.
CleanSpace® vapor barrier
One of the key ingredients in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable, 20mil plastic sheet material designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air and pests from getting into your crawl space. Your crawl space technician will install CleanSpace® poly over the foundation walls and floor to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.
EverLast™ Crawl Space Door
Our EverLast™ Crawl Space Doors are created with ½" thick solid plastic, and they will never rust, rot, or need paint. Sturdy knobs allow for easy access and ensure a tight seal for many years to come.
