Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Brentwood, TN

This home in Brentwood, TN, was suffering from severe water damage in the crawl space. The homeowners contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl to have the space evaluated. After assessing the crawl space, our system design specialist recommended the space be encapsulated. Once our crew arrived on site, they started by removing all debris from the crawl space. Once the space was cleared, the crew rolled out our dimpled drainage matting. Over this matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. A thin version of this vapor barrier was applied to the walls of the space. The crew also sealed off the open vents in the space, preventing air from seeping in, mixing with the dirty air of the crawl space, and flowing up into the living areas of the home. To control moisture levels, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
