This homeowner in Brentwood, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's musty crawl space encapsulated. Once our crew arrived on site, they began removing the old vapor barrier as well as any other debris. After clearing the crawl space, they rolled out drainage matting across the dirt floor. Over this matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls, we applied a thinner version of our CleanSpace. The open crawl space vents were covered with our SilverGlo insulation panels. To combat humidity and prevent mold growth, we installed our SaniDry Sedona crawl space dehumidifier. To prevent flooding in the crawl space, we installed a sump pump system.
