Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Franklin, TN
This homeowner in Franklin, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their home's unique crawl space encapsulated. After evaluating the space, our system design specialist recommended a complete crawl space encapsulation. Once our crew arrived on site, they got to work. The old vapor barrier was removed and drainage matting was rolled out across the dirt floor of the space. On top of the matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around columns, we applied a thinner version of our CleanSpace named "Wallie." Along the perimeter, we carved out trenches for our EZ-Flow tubes. These tubes allow water to flow into the sump pump system. This will prevent the space from flooding. Drainage for the sump pump system is extended out into the yard and away from the home. As a final method of moisture management, the crew installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
