Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Repair in Orlinda, TN

This customer in Orlinda, TN called Frontier to help with moisture issues in their crawl space. To fix the problem, we did a crawl space encapsulation. This project included removing all the debris, like the old vapor barrier, installing EZ Flow drainage tubing, Drainage matting, CleanSpace Liner, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, IceGuard and LawnScape system. We also sealed the crawl space vents with SilverGlo panels and spray foam insulation. To finish this project we installed a new EverLast crawl space door.

EZ Flow

The EZ Flow in installed and surrounded by clean gravel. Next it will be covered back up with dirt, then drainage matting and finally CleanSpace liner to water proof this crawl space.

Installation of the Sump Pump

After a hole is dug at the lowest point of the crawl space the sump pump shell is inserted. The TripleSafe will be assembled inside the shell and then connected to drainage lines.

Drainage Matting

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

The SaniDry Sedona

The SaniDry Sedona offers giant performance in a small package. It's the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier, without a bulky heat exchange core. The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

This pump will pump out up to 2,280 gallons of water per hour, so the homeowners can rest peacefully at night. It works great with the rest of our waterproofing products that collect the leakage to ensure it gets pumped out of their home!

New framing is built and installed for the new crawl space door.
