Signs of Moisture Damage
Fiberglass insulation in a crawl space tends to soak up moisture and humidity, growing mold and eventually causing it to "drip" off the ceiling.

The humidity or moisture reading in this crawl space is very high. This is the perfect breeding ground for mold and wood rot that could cause structural damage.

As well as checking the moisture levels of the crawl space, outside, and inside of the home, we also check the level of moisture in the wooden floor joists.
Drainage Matting
Drainage matting is placed in the crawl space to be installed over the floors. This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
