This customer in Goodlettsville, TN called Frontier us for a crawl space encapsulation and SmartJacks to stabilize the crawl space. Once the structure was stabilized with SmartJacks we started the encapsulation. This included adding drainage matting to the floors, covering the entire crawl space with our CleanSpace liner, and adding a TripleSafe sump pump, a SinaDry Sedona dehumidifier, and Iceguard drainage lines. We finished the project by connecting a Lawnscape system that will carry all the water captured out to the yard away from the structure to protect the foundation and a new EverLast crawl space door.

Crawl Space Before Project Begins

The crawl space is dusty, muddy, and sinking. We will stabilize the structure with SmartJacks first and then the waterproofing will start.

EZ Flow

EZ Flow is installed around the crawl space perimeter and it will lead to the sump pump system so the water it absorbs will be funneled into the sump pump and out of the crawl space through the drainage lines.

Drainage Matting

This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

IceGuard® Discharge Line and LawnScape System

Water escapes from the IceGuard® fitting only when the discharge line becomes clogged. Otherwise, water flows past the slotted openings into the drain pipe. LawnScape™ is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe. The lid comes off for easy cleaning. LawnScape™ is best used for downspout extensions over 8' long.
