Crawl Space Before Project Begins
Obvious water intrusions are visible as well as failing crawl space supports. This problem will only get worse with time causing more damage to the structure.
Crawl Space Moisture
Moisture, mold and falling, failing insulation are problems in this crawl space, which hasn't been properly sealed.
Bowing Walls
Another sign of damage to this crawl space is the bowing of the crawl space walls under the door. Falling insulation, water lines on the concrete block, and muddy floors are all indications of moisture damage.
CleanSpace® Wall System
Like our other wall systems, it can hold back water vapor passing through your foundation walls, directing it to your sump pump. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!
Drainage Matting
This dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.
Piers Wrapped and Insulated with Spray Foam
The Piers are wrapped with CleanSpace liner and sealed with spray foam installation. This creates a moisture barrier.
Encapsulate & Insulate The Crawl Space
To stop moisture from passing through your floors and porous concrete walls, a crawl space liner should be installed. A durable liner will allow for servicemen to use the space without damage while transforming your crawl space into usable storage space. This is also the best time to install crawl space insulation on your walls or floors.
CleanSpace® vapor barrier
One of the key ingredients in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable, 20mil plastic sheet material designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air and pests from getting into your crawl space. Your crawl space technician will install CleanSpace® poly over the foundation walls and floor to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.
The SaniDry Sedona
The SaniDry Sedona offers giant performance in a small package. It's the world's most efficient, high-performance dehumidifier, without a bulky heat exchange core. The Sedona easily fits in small crawl spaces, yet has a powerful blower to effectively dry large crawl spaces. Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
Project Complete
This project is now complete. CleanSpace has been installed over all floors, wrapped around piers, and the crawl space has been sealed.
