Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Clarksville, TN
When a homeowner in Clarksville, TN, reached out to Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair, they had no idea what our inspector would uncover. Inside the crawl space, we found puddles of standing water, water stains on the concrete walls, and extensive mold growth. Moisture in a crawl space can cause numerous problems, including musty odors and weakened wood joists. Our team quickly got to work, first laying drainage matting across the dirt floor. We then installed and sealed a CleanSpace vapor barrier over the matting, with a thinner version applied along the walls. To help direct water to the lowest point of the crawl space, we placed EZ-Flow drainage tubes along the perimeter. At the lowest point, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump system, designed to remove water and prevent flooding efficiently. To further protect the space from humidity and mold growth, we added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now, this crawl space is fully sealed and safeguarded from water damage.
