Once our system design specialist evaluated the space, they recommended a crawl space encapsulation. First, they removed debris from the crawl space. They then rolled out our dimpled drainage matting to help with the flow of water out of the crawl space. Over the drainage matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around the columns, we applied a thinner version of our vapor barrier, called "Wallie." We sealed off the crawl space vents with our 2-inch-thick SilverGlo insulation. We also installed our innovative sump pump system to prevent the space from flooding.
