Old Crawl Space Door
Typical crawl space doors are made with painted wood panels. They're usually held on by metal nails or hinges. However, wood rots and metal rusts, and when they're installed on your home, they quickly begin to fall apart.

Crawl Space Before Project
This crawl space is showing signs of damage. The wall is starting to crumble and buckle, which are all signs of moisture issues that will only get worse with time is not addressed.

Encapsulate & Insulate The Crawl Space
To stop moisture from passing through your floors and porous concrete walls, a crawl space liner should be installed. A durable liner will allow for servicemen to use the space without damage while transforming your crawl space into usable storage space. This is also the best time to install crawl space insulation on your walls or floors. This liner is inadequate and will be replaced.

Old Crawl Space Liner
The old crawl space liner is too thin and not doing an adequate job at providing a moisture barrier. This will be removed before our waterproofing products are installed.

Drainage Matting Installed
Drainage matting is installed, this dimpled plastic sheet material promotes good drainage over the entire crawl space floor.

New Framing Installed for Crawl Space Door
The crawl space liner is sealed in place and new wood framing has been built out to install the new secure crawl space door.

Sealing Crawl Space Vents
The crawl space vents are covered with SilverGlow panels and spray foam insulation. Sealing your crawl space vents stops the cycle of cold, humidity, and moisture entering from the outside air.

One key ingredient in our encapsulation system is the CleanSpace® vapor barrier, a super-durable 20-mil plastic sheet designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space.
