Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Clarksville, TN

This homeowner in Clarksville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their crawl space evaluated, as they were experiencing moisture issues in the home. Upon inspection, our system design specialist discovered many issues, including damp wood, sagging insulation, and water trapped by the plastic barrier. Our specialist recommended a complete crawl space encapsulation. Our crew started by removing all debris from the crawl space, including the damp insulation and plastic barrier. They then rolled out our dimpled drainage matting. Over this matting, we applied our durable CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around the columns, the crew applied a thinner version of the CleanSpace barrier. We also dug out a trench along the perimeter of the crawl space to allow for our EZ-Flow tubes to be placed. These tubes will allow water to flow into the sump pump system. In addition to the sump pump system, we also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. To complete the encapsulation, we replaced the old crawl space door with our EverLast crawl space door.
