Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation in Clarksville, TN
This homeowner in Clarksville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their crawl space evaluated. After our system design specialist evaluated the extremely muddy space and recommended a complete encapsulation. The homeowners agreed, and our crew got to work. They started by removing the old, muddy vapor barrier. They rolled out drainage matting across the dirt floor. Over the matting, we applied our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Along the walls and around the columns, a thinner version of our CleanSpace was applied with spray foam. The crew sealed off the open crawl space vents with our 2-inch SilverGlo insulation. For the sump pump system, we installed our EZ-Flow tubes along the perimeter of the crawl space to help with the flow of water into the system. To combat the humidity, we installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Now, the space is protected against water intrusion.
