Foundation Wall Repair in Hendersonville TN
Challenge
This 1969 home in Hendersonville TN was giving the family a lot of anxiety. The family has been in the home for over 20 years and plans to stay there. However, they have noticed cracking and movement in the foundation that is very concerning. Because the project was so serious it was important the home owner had complete confidence in the company completing the work.
The inspection revealed very serious foundation wall failure. The family was very lucky the foundation had not collapsed.
Project goals were to permanently stabilize the walls and keep the basement warm and dry.
Solution
Foundation Repair:
Temporary Shoring of flooring above to facilitate the installation/repair of foundation work.
Exterior Dig Out, including excavation up to 8 ft deep, Sentry Seal and Delta on the wall, Perforated Piping, 3/4
depth gravel Back-fill.
PowerBraces using an 8' brace. Including top lever bracket assembly for floor joists that run parallel to the wall.
Cross Beam Supports as shown on job drawing to support the wall between the PowerBraces.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchors using a 7' channel wall support.
Two Stage Waterproofing:
Discharge line.
IceGuard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge line.
LawnScape outlet or well at end of discharge line.
TripleSafe Complete pump system with twin liner, 1/3 hp cast iron primary AC pump, 1/2 hp cast iron AC back-up pump,
UltraSump battery back-up pumping system with charging/control box with alarm, and 120 amp sealed maintenance free battery.
Includes 3 CleanPump stands, airtight lid with airtight floor drain, and WaterWatch alarm system.
Electrical outlets installed. The first will be a dedicated circuit with one duplex receptacle (must be within 50 feet wire length of breaker box) for the use of Single Sump Pump. TripleSafe Sump Pump System requires two (2). The 2nd unit will be another duplex receptacle (within 50 feet of the first) on the same circuit.
