Foundation Repair in Bardwell, KY!

Challenge

This family had a home in Bardwell, KY was that built in the 1940's and have been living in it since 1978. They knew there was water in the basement and wanted to get that headache fixed. The inspectors noticed that the wall in the basement was bowing in significantly, about 2-3 inches. The water was causing damage to the foundation and the basement wall, and eventually this wall would cave in if the issue was not addressed. 

The homeowners wanted to fix this problem, and wanted to be able to use this space for storage which they were not able to do at this point. They also were concerned about the home losing property value. 

They had a few companies come out before to evaluate their basement issue but ultimately decided to go with us due to the professionalism of our inspector and the permanent solutions we offered to them. 

Solution

The solution for this family was our GeoLock Anchors. We dig outside of the house to get to the outside of the wall and from the inside install the wall anchors. We tighten them up with a torque wrench and straighten the wall out like it should be and this prevents it from collapsing! We installed the rest of our waterproofing products in the basement and now they can use it for storage and the value of their home is increased!
