Finished to demolished.
This room was a finished bedroom for guest and storage for the children. The dresser helped stop the landslide and probably save the rest of the foundation.
Muddy Floors
When the home owner opened the basement door it looked like a river was flowing through the home.
Finished Bathroom destroyed.
The bathroom has more damage than meets the eye. The tile wall is bowing, tree roots are growing behind the shower wall, the carpet is saturated with mud and sewage.
River Runs Through It
After many hours of clean up the water is out and the mud is shoveled from the floor so crews can pass through to the area of concern.
Basemetn Cave
The force of the foundation give busted through block and drywall.
Outside In
Here you can see the outside view of the wall. Blocks are busted and the earth has moved in.
Tree Roots
A tree root is also causing stress to the outside wall.
Temporary Cover
For now plastic and tarps cover the area while work is done to secure the home.
Stationary Bike is buried.
An indoor stationary bike meets the outdoors when the mud bust through.
Foundation Wall Fails
The block foundation of this home could not handle any more pressure.
