Stair Step Cracks
These stair step cracks are a very obvious sign the foundation is moving and needs some attention.
Bowing
The horizontal cracks you see across these blocks are an affect of pressure against the other side of the foundation. The wall is literally about to burst from that pressure.
Earth Plate in Place
The steel plate is installed a few feet away from the foundation. A steel rod connects this earth plate and an interior wall plate to stabilize and support the foundation wall.
Reverse Pressure helps secure the wall.
A low-profile wall plate holds pressure from the interior side of the basement wall. Wall anchors are also a great option to straighten the wall over time if needed.
