Stair Step Cracks in the Block
The stair step cracks in the block wall show quite a bit of shifting has happened. Typically if a corner of a home is sinking, the separation will be larger towards the top of the stair step crack and tighter as it goes lower.
Bowing Walls
Looks like this wall had been painted however that does not do anything to support the bowing.
Horizontal Cracks
Horizontal cracks are signs of pressure from the other side of the wall. The cracks indicates the wall is failing to the weight.
Measure for Distance
Measuring the space of the cracks is a good way to bench mark changes and of course corrections.
Veritcal Cracks
This vertical crack continued to get worse and just gave the family more concern.
Brackets to hold the Brace
Steel brackets are used to secure the placement of the brace
Brace Secured
The PowerBrace must also be secured at the base of the foundation.
PowerBraces Secure the Wall
The spacing of the PowerBrace is also very important to stabilize the load of the wall and the pressure against it.
CarbonArmour
CarbonArmour strips are able to provide the protection the wall needs for the areas that are not yet as bad.
