Foundation Repair Photo Album: Push Piers Installed in Benton, KY

This Kentucky home was in serious need of our help! It seems that the soil that this home was built on was not meant for something as heavy as a home to be built on it. Soil with poor load-bearing capacity can give way under the weight of a house, causing cracked foundation walls and jammed  doors and windows. To solve settlement problems, steel push piers are "pushed", or driven, until they reach more stable soil. A steel bracket connects each pier to the foundation to prevent foundation settlement. Brackets are often used along with hydraulic jacks to lift the structure back to original position. Along with our Push Piers System, our crew also installed SmartJacks in the basement to help lift uneven/sinking floors.This family can now rest easy knowing their home's foundation won't crumble underneath them!
