Outdoor cracks.
You can see the cracks on the outside of the home in this picture. The cracks that look like a staircase are often a really good indication of foundation settlement.
Indoor cracks.
The cracks in this foundation can both be seen from the inside and the outside. You can also see the moisture and water seeping through this cracks. This makes the inside of this basement extremely humid. A humid environment with organic material can easily create mold.
Push Piers
Push Piers were installed to correct the settlement problems. Holes are dug around the home and push piers are inserted into those holes. These piers are then used to lift the home to return it to where it was before the settlement occurred.
WaterGuard
WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of this basement. This is designed to collect all the water that seeps in around the edge of the basement wall. This water then goes to the TripleSafe sump pump.
TripleSafe
This is the TripleSafe sump pump, it is designed to take all the water that is collected in the WaterGuard away from the home to ensure it does not come back.
