These homeowners in Columbia Tennessee were extremely concerned with a crack in the side of their foundation. They contacted Frontier Basement Systems for a free inspection and a design specialist was sent to their home. The home had cracks that resembled a staircase and this is normally a good indication of foundation settlement. Together with the homeowners it was decided that a series of push piers were the right solution for this home.

This is what the crack in the side of their home looked like before our crew got in there and installed push piers. You can actually see how the crack resembles a set of stairs.

Holes are dug into the ground to the base of the foundation and from there the push piers are installed.

Push Piers

A series of push piers were installed along the side of their home. Push piers not only stop settlement but lift the foundation back to its original position, closing cracks and improving window and door operation.

All Done!

You can notice from the picture that the crack in the side of the home actually closed right up! The crew does the best they can to return the landscape back to its original state. The results are beautiful!
