Foundation Repair Photo Album: Wall Repair in Shelbyville, TN
This homeowner in Shelbyville, TN, noticed several cracks around their home, including cracks along the exterior brick walls and interior concrete walls. For help, the homeowners contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair. At the home, our crew discovered a plethora of cracks as well as bowing walls. The decision was made to install both wall anchors and wall braces to stabilize and straighten the leaning and cracked walls. For the bowing walls, we utilized our PowerBrace wall system. The floor-to-ceiling i-beams are constructed of, making them extremely durable and capable of withstanding quite a bit of pressure. These wall braces are long-lasting and can be adjusted to keep the wall straight. On the outside of the home, holes were dug for the wall anchors. Inside the home, holes are drilled for the wall anchor rod to be pushed through. Once the rod from the earth anchor reaches through the interior side of the wall, a plate is added. This place can be tightened to secure and straighten the walls they're connected to. Finally, our crew filled in the holes and flattened the terrain outside of the home.
