This family has beem a happy customer of ours for over two years.  In 2012 they had us take a look at their wet crawlspace and sinking foundation.  We lifted their sinking slab with push piers, and insulated and encapsulated the crawlspace with CleanSpace and Delta Drainage matting, helping create a useable storage space in the previously damp crawl.  They had been very pleased with the foundaiton work and the new storage space.

So in 2014, when the other side of their slab started sinking, they knew who to call for help with the repairs.  We were able to install more push piers on the opposite side of their home, stabilizing the entire foundation.  We were even able to use our PolyLevel to lift their sinking sidewalks!  Now with their Fuondation Supportworks Push Piers, their home will be stable for years to come!

When the customer purchased this log home, they recognized that the tall crawlspace could be used to store more than old rakes. Also, the cold floors above the space were not only uncomfortable, but getting expensive as well.  They were referred to us by a neighbor, and asked us to take a look at the problem.  

The first thing we noticed was the sagging, sinking pink insulation.  This old fashioned stuff was hanging from the floor joists, certainly not where they are supposed to be!  We knew spray foam insulation would be a better solution.  This is a liquid that is sprayed onto the walls and floor joists, hardening almost instantly, to create a completely sealed insulated barrier which is more effective and sturdier than traditional fiberglass products.  CleanSpace was also used along the floor and around the piers to help seal the space as well.  We even added a custom door to the crawlspace so that it could be safely and securely used as a storage space.  

Crawlspace is now dry, warm, and useable.  The temperature of the home is also more stable, due to the improved insulation of the crawlspace below, which makes the house more comfortable and more cost effective for heat and air!

The garage of the home was converted to useable work space by removing the garage door and replacing it with a single door and windows. They installed concrete block for walls and this was not sufficient for the weight as the house began to settle. The foundation began to crack inside and outside and the floors cracking as well.
