A home in White House, TN, was dealing with a significant issue of unlevel concrete around its pool deck. This problem was primarily due to poorly compacted soil beneath the concrete slabs, which had resulted in the formation of voids. As the soil settled and shifted over time, the concrete above it sank, creating an uneven and potentially hazardous surface around the pool. The repair process involved precise drilling to prepare for the injection of PolyLevel, a high-density polyurethane foam. The result was a restored, level pool deck, with the concrete returned to its original position, providing a safe and visually appealing surface once again.

This homeowner did not like how the steps to the front door was uneven and sinking. Sinking concrete that pulls away from its foundation is common in Kentucky and Tennessee because of the weak soil base and erosion. When this happens, it can cause a safety hazzard if it is unbalanced or causing a tripping hazzard.
We use our PolyLevel Concrete Lifting foam injection that lifts the concrete from underneath to put the concrete back to where it is balanced and pushed back to the foundation where it is supposed to be.
This homeowner in Greenbrier was looking to put his home on the market, but was worried about the sinking concrete in the back would turn potential buyers away. With it being a potential tripping liability, he decided to have the concrete lifted.
Using our PolyLevel Concrete Lifting foam injector, Frontier Basement Systems raises the concrete from underneath and stabilizes the concrete from further sinking. We use PolyLevel to lift concrete slabs to a level position with less weight and disruption than the legacy mud jacking or slab jacking process which settles again over time.
This customer's home constantly felt humid inside and a result from that, the utillity bill was sky high. After much research, this homeowner reached out to Frontier for an inspection to figure out why the home constantly felt hot and humid.
After the inspection, the homeowner learned that since the crawl space was not properly encapsulated, humid air was leaking through the walls and rising up into the home. We installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation system and the homeowner saw such a change in the temperature through the house.
Since structural problems with cracks and uneven floors began to get increasingly worse over the short span of a year, this family came to Frontier Basement Systems for a permanent solution!

John B. has had a problem with standing water in his home's crawl space. The most he has encountered was 4 inches! He had tried to fix the problem with extended gutters, but it did not work. John knew that constant water would soon create a much bigger problem, so he did his research and called Frontier!
Our inspector came out to his home and inspected his crawl space. He tested the humidity in the air and it reached over 80%. Mold spores only need a humidity of 50% (or more) to grow, so the standing water and high humidity level was a recipe for mold and foundation damage.
John and our inspector discussed solutions, and John agreed to our crew installing our best waterproofing products.
Our crew started by clearing out his crawl space of all debris, installing the CleanSpace Drainage Matting, which becomes a channel for rainwater to flow to the designated pump, and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, a super-durable, 20mil plastic sheet material designed to permanently prevent moisture, outside air and pests from getting into your crawl space.
Our crew also installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which has a battery backup pump and WaterWatch alarm, and the SaniDry powerful dehumidifer to keep the moisture levels low.
John B. is very happy with his decision on all of our nationally backed products. We are glad we were able to help him with an easy and reliable solution!
Lance was having significant issues in his home due to the excessive moisture in his crawl space. He first noticed that something was wrong whenever his floors became bouncy and uneven. He had only lived in the 1985 home for two years but knew that when the signs of structural damage occur that it's best to fix it right away before it causes expensive problems in the future.
Lance began to look on HomeAdvisor for structure repair companies and stumbled upon Frontier Basement Systems. He decided to take advantage of our free home inspections and left us his number to contact him.
In no time our trained inspector, Robert, came to meet Lance at his home. Robert looked around the space and noted the moist soil ground in his crawl space, the open vent, and poorly supported wood beams. He came back to sit down with Lance and tell him exactly what he found and showed Lance photos to pinpoint the problem areas.
Lance was ready to have to never worry about his home ever again. He agreed that his soil ground needed to be covered, his vent sealed, and proper supporting stabilizers.
Brad and his crew installed SmartJacks to lift the floors back to the original position. Our stabilizers are made out of steel and have a galvanized coating to ensure no rusting occurs! They also made sure to encapsulate Lance's crawl space so the moisture in the unsealed soil ground doesn't evaporate into the home and damage the wood any further. A few more of our amazing nationally backed products were installed, like our reliable TripleSafe Sump Pump and powerful SaniDry Sedona. Brad also replaced the old wood crawl space door with our nearly indestructible EverLast door. Their new crawl space door has a water and airtight seal, so Lance won't have to worry about moisture or critters getting in!
Now Lance has a clean and moisture-free crawl space that won't give him any more problems- only a peace of mind!

Roger was having issues with his forever home. The hydrostatic pressure from the soil outside of his basement was causing his walls to bow and crack. This led to major flooding issues in his basement during heavy rains. He noticed the problem almost a year ago and it only got worse. After seeing mold growth and the cracks only getting longer, he decided it was time to call a professional before the structural integrity of his home was altered.
Our trained inspector, Robert, met Roger and his wife at their home. Robert inspected the basement and home and then sat down with Roger and his wife to discuss solutions for his home. He had talked to them about solutions for their flood and bowing basement walls and also discussed products for lifting their settling home. They agreed that CarbonArmor and Push Piers was the best fit for their home!
The CarbonArmor system permanently stabilizes your home's foundation walls. CarbonArmor uses fiber-reinforced polymers which are 10-times stronger than steel, yet flexible enough to contour tightly against your basement wall. The ArmorLock brackets bind and secure the CarbonArmor straps to your floor joists making the CarbonArmor solution fast, non-invasive and ideal for quickly stabilizing bowing and leaning walls.
Push Piers are made of steel and are driven deep into the soil beneath a foundation to solve settlement problems. Push piers can be installed inside or outside your foundation walls and are not visible once the repair is complete. In many scenarios, push piers not only stop settlement but lift the foundation back to its original position, closing cracks and improving window and door operation.
Carlos's crew got to work and now Roger has peace of mind that he has deserved for a year!
We are so glad to be able to find lasting solutions for homeowners!

This homeowner in Bell Buckle Tennessee had high moisture in their crawl space. The homeowners were concerned with mold growth and creating a pathway for water to get away from their home. Having a TripleSafe sump pump system is a great way to keep your crawl space or basement free of water during heavy thunderstorms. This system has been proven to keep water out during floods. If any water gets in the basement or crawl space from outside, it is collected by our pipe system, which leads it to the primary sump pump, called the TripleSafe Sump Pump. If for any reason TripleSafe fails, for example during a power outage, UltraSump4 saves the day!
UltraSump4 is a battery-operated, back-up pumping system designed to be a secondary, stand-by pump that operates when the AC power is interrupted or if the primary pump fails. Imagine the power goes out during a heavy storm, but the rain doesn't stop and your basement keeps getting flooded. Well, that's when the back-up pump starts working!
When water rises to the level of the top of the float switch housing, the pump will automatically switch on and the alarm will sound to indicate UltraSump4 back-up operation. The alarm is very loud, designed this way to alert homeowners. They may not always be aware of what is going on underneath their house and that there is an extreme volume of water. We made sure each pump has an alarm that will notify them in such situation.
We provide annual maintenance on all sump pump systems to make sure it works how it should. We will maintain your sump pump system for you, always keeping your hands and basement clean and dry!
Tony B realized his floors were uneven and cracks were beginning to form in his home. He was looking to sell his home in the next few years and he knew the home's value would take a dip due to the foundation weakening. He decided to start looking for a company that could do a quality job at a good price, so he'd never have to worry about his crawl space and structure again and so his home would be at its highest value when he decides to sell.
Our experienced inspector came by for the homeowner's free inspection. He looked around his home and crawl space, took moisture and humidity tests, and took many photos, so when he sat down and discussed what he found with the homeowner, the homeowner could see exactly what he was referring to.
Our inspector told the homeowner all about our encapsulation process and SmartJack system.
Our encapsulation system is great for reducing moisture and our SmartJacks can lift uneven floors back to the original position.
SmartJack post rests on a precast concrete pad that is set on a base of compacted stone. This engineered structural system won't settle like masonry piers can; nor will it rot or shift like a wood post.
Our CleanSpave Vapor Barrier encapsulation process and SmartJack Stabilizers are perfect for those crawl spaces with excessive moisture that could use a little foundation boost!
