Challenge

This Russellville family have lived in the house for over 60 years, with the matriach just celebrating her 100th birthday! The challenges faced is that the basement is constantly taking in water - so much water that there are TWO TripleSafe sump pumps!

Solution

My ride along with the Service Department took me to Russellville, KY with Service Tech Logan. I got to see first hand what steps are taken during an annual service, which was especially important in this home as all pumps are frequently in use to deal with the water levels.

We replaced the check valves, which are to stop pumped out water from running back into the sump liner, checked that all 6 pumps were working correctly by adding water into the pumps, and made sure that the back up batteries were holding a charge and ready to kick into action in the event of a power outtage.

The moisture content of the air is also checked to ensure that there aren't any further issues to raise concerns.

Simple preventative maintenance is the best way to ensure that the whole system is functioning properly and continues to protects your home.

Logan starts working on the pump at the lowest point of the basement. Thanks to Frontier Basement System's solutions - this family has enjoyed a dry basement that for the first time they have even been able to set up a small office!
