Water Issues
It's important to address any water issues before laying a barrier down, so we look at adequate drainage and install a sump pump.
Insulation removal
The traditional fiberglass insulation batting is not designed to be in a crawlspace environment so we will remove this and therefore remove optimum mold growing material.
A true vapor barrier
Using thick and durable 20 mil plastic liner we have encapsulated the crawl space, with overlapped joints, taped and sealed, and caulked to the foundation wall above grade level.
Control humidity
This Sedona Sanidry will work to keep the humidity levels below 55% as anything greater than 60% is a breeding ground for mold.
Discharge Line
This drainage line is installed across the lawn and will carry the pumped out water away from the home and it's foundation.
