Sump Pumps Photo Album: Sump Pump Installation in Hendersonville, TN
This homeowner in Hendersonville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have a sump pump system installed inside their crawl space. After our crew evaluated the crawl space, we decided the TripleSafe sump pump system would be the best option to handle pooling water in a crawl space. First, we excavated a sump pump pit and placed the sump pump liner inside. Our crew then dug out and installed a perimeter drainage system using EZ-Flow tubes, which allow water to flow through the tubes and into the sump pump. The sump pump system was then placed in the liner. We backfilled the liner with clean gravel, which helps keep the sump pump system as clean as possible. The airtight sump pump lid ensures no odors or humidity from rising out of the sump pit while also stopping debris from falling into the pump. A drainage line from the pump to the outside of the homeowner's yard is installed flush; so, lawn mowers can easily mow over the drain. With the drainage line installed, the installation is complete. This crawl space is now equipped with the tools to pump out standing water that makes its way to the crawl space.
