Sump Pumps Photo Album: Sump Pump Installation in Clarksville, TN
This homeowner in Clarksville, TN, contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to have their basement waterproofed and a sump pump system installed. Our TripleSafe sump pump system was decided to be the best option for the homeowner. This sump pump system is installed by excavating what is known as a sump pump pit in the lowest part of the basement. This allows water to flow into the perimeter drainage system placed along the basement walls and connected to an outlet in the sum pump. We then placed the liner in the pit and filled the space with clean gravel. The actual pumps are then placed inside the liner where they are sealed away by an airtight sump pump lid. Another drainage outlet connected to the sump pump system leads to outside the home where it extends into the yard. This drainage pipe is covered back up with dirt, with the drain flush to the ground so mowers can safely go over it.
