When this Tennessee family bought their home in 2014, it had already had cracks in the walls and a sinking porch. They had noticed the porch was getting worse and was causing water to leak into their crawl space. They had tried to fix the problem themselves with caulk joint, but it only cracked and withered away in the heat. They had been looking in a local home & garden magazine when they came across us. They called immediately and we had an inspector meet with them.
Our solution was to lift the porch to the correct height using PolyLevel injection and seal the cracks with NexusPro Sealant. NexusPro Sealant is different than regular caulk, because it is polyurethane based and UV ray resistant. So you won't have to worry about bubbling or cracking! It will stay looking fresh and clean!

These homeowners in Cottontown Tennessee were very unhappy with the way their walkway looked. They called Frontier Basement Systems for a solution and decided some PolyLevel injections and sealant was the best course of action. The results are beautiful and the homeowners are very happy!
Cement is heavy and this Tennessee family was figuring out just how heavy their porch steps were. They had some cracking and sinking cement problems and wanted it to get fixed asap before any more damage occurred. Their porch had sunk about 2-3 inches and because of this, it pushed back on the cement sidewalk which caused cracks.
Our inspector came over and discussed our concrete solutions with them. We use a special foam to lift sunken slabs and this was the perfect product for them. This product is our PolyLevel System and is done by boring small (penny-sized) holes in the slab, and using specially designed equipment to inject a structural-grade polymer into the void. After the void is filled, the expanding properties of the polyurethane foam allow for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab. Finally, the small holes are grouted and sealed, and the slab is completely restored.
We also used NexusPro Sealant to seal up their cracks (not pictured), which is a silicone-based sealant that prevents water ice and dirt from infiltrating the concrete joint and the ground below.
They were so happy to fix their porch and sidewalk and we were thrilled to be able to offer them permanent solutions!

The owner of this apartment complex wanted to eliminate trip hazards for the residents.
Also the annual inspection came back with a score of 94 every year and improving the score was important to him. These simple improvements could also help his score.
An elevation difference of 1/4" or greater on a walk way is considered a trip hazard. Lifting and leveling the sinking concrete to eliminate those hazards will not only help residents but also lower cost on insurance for the apartment complex.
