These homeowners were struggling with a lot of moisture in their crawl space and contacted Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair for a free and thorough inspection. After it was decided together that a full encapsulation was the right solution for this home. CleanSpace is part of the encapsulation process and it is the white vapor barrier you can see in these photos. CleanSpace is 20mil thick and designed to keep water and moisture out of a crawl space.
This Tennessee homeowner had just bought his house 6 months ago and was already experiencing issues. His crawl space was taking on water and he was worried how it might affect his home's foundation.
We sent over our inspectors and they suggested full encapsulation.
A liner that has rips and tears in it is completely worthless. The main point of encapsulating your dirt floor is to stop moisture from sneaking through the dirt and causing mold spores to grow on wood beams. Which will wear down your foundation, causing uneven floors above, and the moldy wood will also infect your healthy air upstairs with unhealthy mold spore-filled air (because 50% of the air we breathe above comes from the crawl space or basement!!!)
This homeowner no longer has to worry about his home taking in water or his foundation failing, because of moldy wood beams.
He now has our amazing CleanSpace Liner and CleanSpace Drainage Matting protecting his home!

This homeowner had a high moisture content in their crawl space, and it was making the rest of their house smell “musty”. They reached out to Frontier for a permanent solution and Frontier sent out a design specialist. Together the design specialist and homeowner decided a full encapsulation was the best idea. Stunning results!
This Dyer, TN home had inches of standing water in their crawlspace. This was not only causing foundational issues through soil erosion, it was producing the perfect environment for mold growth. We removed the water and completed a full crawlspace encapsulation to protect the home and its inhabitants. The encapsulation included CleanSpace drainage matting and vapor barrier (seen here), a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and a TripleSafe sump pump to keep the crawlspace safe and dry.
The homeowner is happy with the quality of work that was completed.
This customer in Laceys Spring, AL called Frontier after noticing a separation and cracking in the interior walls. This is caused by sinking due to settling and excess moisture in the crawl space. We came out and installed a SmartJack system to address the structural sinking. After that to address the moisture issue we encapsulated the crawl space with drainage matting, CleanSpace, SilverGlo in vents to seal outside air out, a new SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to pull any excess moisture from the air, and finished with framing out and installing a new Everlast crawl space door.
