This crawl space in Tennessee was experiencing some excessive moisture issues. The soil was often damp and mold was beginning to grow on the wood supporting joists. The homeowners worried that the mold would get worse and cause foundation damage. They googled crawl space experts and found us!
Our inspector came out to inspect their space and noted the mildew smell and damp/muddy soil. He also took a wood moisture content test and also tested the relative humidity in the crawl space-- all which were above the recommended levels.
Our inspector discussed with the homeowners our encapsulation process and how much it could help them keep moisture and vapor out of their crawl space along with our other products, such as our SuperSump Pump, SaniDry Dehumidifier, IceGuard, and LawnScape Outlet. Many of these products help with collecting the moisture and making sure it gets pumped out and away from your home.
They loved that we had great warranties on all of our products and that they were also nationally backed. They were ready to start to project!
Our vapor barrier liner is made to reduce moisture in the crawl and can even lower your energy bills. It is also quite durable for it is 20mil thick and has 7 layers of polyethylene composition and polyester-cord reinforcement.
When crawl spaces are prone to this much standing water, we suggest one of our powerful sump pumps, such as our SuperSump Pump! To keep humidity at bay to stop the growth of mold, we also suggest our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifer. It will ensure your relative humidity will never go above 60% (the percentage at which dust mites and mold thrives)
The homeowners now have a dry and healthy crawl space that they no longer have to worry about!
We love providing long lasting solutions to our community!
