This Tennessee couple was aware of how dirty and unhealthy their crawl space was. They also knew there was an excessive amount of moisture because mold was starting to grow and there was a musty odor in the home.
They wanted a healthy crawl space and fast, so they called us! We have a lot of experience encapsulating crawl spaces and every home is encapsulated for the better!
Our crew got to work installing: CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, Drainage Matting, SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, IceGuard, TripleSafe Sump Pump, LawnScape Outlet
They now have a clean crawl space that they can use for storage and they won't ever have to worry about moldy odors coming from their crawl space again!
This crawl space entrance now has an air tight entrance!
The type of door that shields your basement or crawlspace from the outside environment is very important. After this home's crawlspace was encapsulated, installing the EverLast Door was the "cherry on top". The EverLast door is 1/2' thick and will NEVER rot or need painting. It also seals off outside air, keeping the crawlspace dry!
The EverLast door is a much better choice than the wood door the family had before, because the old door did not protect the home from outside drafts, nor critters who can crawl through the cracks.
The homeowners had a problem with excessive moisture in their crawl space. This problem was causing their wood beams to weaken and mold to grow. They had first noticed a mildew aroma in their living quarters and decided to check out their crawl space a little closer. They decided the best people to do this inspection were experts!
The homeowners had seen our job vans around with our job logo and job specifications. Since our name and our FREE inspections deal stuck in their mind, they called us!
Our inspector came out to their home to meet them and talk about their issues. He went under their home and took a few photos and a moisture test. Their wood moisture content level was at 40%! It was a good thing that they called when they did, because any longer and they might've needed stabilizers to support their home's weight when the wood beams failed due to rot and decay. Our inspector addressed the moisture issue and recommended our encapsulation system to them as well as some supporting products to ensure they wouldn't have problems again! They liked everything he recommended and agreed to have them installed!
He also told them about our nearly indestructible EverLast Crawl Space Doors. At the time they had just a plain wooden door. Unfortunately, this type of door allows insect and rodent pests to enter the crawl space, along with cold winter air that can make your floors frigid. Plus, they can easily mold, warp, and need re-painting. On the other hand, our EverLast door is made from ½-in.-thick PVC plastic. The air and water seal is certain, thanks to the heavy-duty weatherstripping that comes with each door. Once you tighten down the installation knobs, you can feel confident that the interior of your crawl space is protected and fully isolated from exterior critters and conditions.
The homeowners love their new and improved space! They are so glad to have their peace of mind back again!

These homeowners in Hendersonville Tennessee had their crawl space encapsulated with CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a 20-mil thick vapor barrier designed to keep water and moisture out of a crawl space. After putting all the effort into having the crawl space encapsulated it is important to replace the door to the crawl space as well. Most crawl space doors are plywood and can easily mold and rot. The EverLast door cannot rot nor will it mold and is sealed from the inside ensuring that the water and humidity stays out. Plus it looks so much better!
