This homeowner was tired of having a musty smell throughout his home. He had Frontier Basement Systems seal off his dirty, damp crawl space that cured the homes' musty smell!
Moisture in a crawl space can wreak havoc on a foundation, bringing deterioration, and mold growth. This crawl space was sealed using our CleanSpace Encapsulation System, saving this home's foundation from rotting.
The home owner was aware of mold in his home and garage. He already had a trench drain and sump pump to save the garage from heavy rains. However the walls were bowing in from the hydrostatic pressure. The garage wall was no longer holding back the pressure of the earth around behind the wall. Wall anchors were installed to provide support and protect the foundation of the home.
This Portland family wanted to ensure that the storage space provided by their basement remained dry all of the time.
To manage the water that was coming through the walls during times of heavy rains we installed WaterGuard to the bottom of the walls, which captures the incoming water and directs it to the sump pump liner and it is pumped out through the discharge line.
This innovative product sits flush to the floor, and will not clog due to where it is located. There are also inspection ports so that the system can be flushed and checked without any disruption.
Now that the water is intercepted at the point of entry, the basement is nice and dry and items will not be damaged by standing water.
This home's crawl space was in desperate need of a durable door! Our EverLast Access Door's are 1/2' thick with a solid polyethylene barrier.. meaning they will never bend, crack, rot, or need paint! They also seal off any outside air, so moisture cannot latch on to your wood beams and cause them to mold! An extra plus is that they also keep insects out too!
The EverLast door is the icing on the cake for any waterproofing job!
