Ground settling caused cracks and separation on the customer's concrete driveway, sidewalk and porch. Our specialist used Polylevel 400 to lift as much as the Structure would allow, guaranteeing stabilization. Polylevel provides the fill, lift and stabilization for the issue. Nexus Pro crack repair and joint sealant were used to complete the project.
This driveway had settled and cracked. It had pulled away from the brick wall lining the drive. The specialist came in and used PolyLevel 400 to raise the drive and Nexus Pro to repair & seal the affected area.

Once the repairs are done & the excess Polylevel foam has been trimmed the customer will be responsible for filling the exposed area with dirt or filler to ensure the erosion does not return.
NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry. It fits into homeowners' busy lifestyles, too - drying time is a fraction of that needed for other urethane-based caulking products.
Why do you need to seal cracks in your concrete? Rainwater infiltrates and softens the dirt under the slab, causing the slab to sink more- making the crack larger and more of a safety issue as time goes by. Fix it now before the crack gets worse!
This concrete sidewalk had shifted quite a bit back and forth. In this photo, you can see that it had moved away from the steps, causing an inch and a half gap. As the years went by water infiltrated it more and the shifting got worse and cracks even appeared down the driveway. These things tend to happen when concrete is not poured over prepared soil, and even from erosion or flooding. No matter what the cracking and shifting resulted from, these homeowners were ready to have it fixed. It not only caused an eyesore, but it also created a tripping hazard. Thankfully, they called us and our amazing foreman, Eric, got to work on it!
Products Installed:
PolyLevel- This is done by boring small (penny-sized) holes in the slab and using specially designed equipment to inject a structural-grade polymer into the void. After the void is filled, the expanding properties of the polyurethane foam allows for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab. Finally, the small holes are grouted and sealed, and the slab is completely restored.
NexusPro Sealant- NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry.
These homeowners now have a safe a sealed sidewalk! They love having a peace of mind and are glad they chose to fix the cracks before they got any worse!
