Before our intervention, the home in Clarksville had a crawl space door made out of organic material, which allowed air to freely enter and cause high humidity rates within the space. This often led to moisture issues and potentially compromised the structural integrity of the home. However, after installing the new EverLast Door, crafted from airtight, half-inch thick PVC plastic, the crawl space is now effectively sealed off from outside air. This not only prevents the ingress of humid air but also ensures better insulation and protection against moisture-related problems. The upgraded door not only enhances the overall integrity of the home but also contributes to a healthier and more controlled environment within the crawl space.
The customer in Clarksville, TN called Frontier when they noticed moisture issues and mold growth in their crawl space. For this project, we cleaned up the debris in the crawl space and then remediated the mold issue. After that to prevent the problem from reoccurring we installed Drainage matting, CleanSpace liner on the floor and walls, a TripleSafe sump pump, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and a drainage system. We finished the project off with a new EverLast crawl space door.
